The daily problems: weighing, deductions and FFB supply
It starts at the weighbridge post. Every figure below comes from the same weighbridge ticket.
Weighing and grading you can defend
Weights are read from the indicator through an agent (Preview); a manual weight needs a reason and the ticket is flagged MANUAL. One deduction formula on screen, ticket and server.
Sawitara MillDeductions stop being disputes
Suppliers see their ticket, deductions and slip on a phone through Tandan, free. PPh 22 and journals are built from the ticket, with no retyping.
Tandan by SawitaraCompeting for FFB supply
Quality bonus per grade from the grading result, and the mill’s own supply target and bonus programme: progress shows in Tandan and is paid through the next slip. No redeemable points, no raffles.
Independent millsWhen a buyer asks for FFB origin data
A ready add-on, Sawitara Trace, for EUDR, a buyer’s NDPE policy or ISPO: origin is recorded from the daily weighbridge ticket; plots and legality are completed by suppliers and staff.

What is Sawitara?
Sawitara connects estates, mills, smallholders and buyers on one plantation platform, from FFB to financials to FFB-origin traceability, with AI at every step.
- Two product families. Apps for growers and partners (Buku Kebun, Tandan, FFB Prices, Toko Input) and systems for mills and companies (Mill, Estate, Finance, Trace, Ara).
- One data set. A figure recorded at the estate or weighbridge is reused through to the ledger and the traceability report.
- AI, stated plainly. Rule-based sentinels in every product, plus an AI assistant on the provider you choose.
- Two languages. Each user works in Indonesian or English; official printed documents stay in Indonesian.

Apps for growers & partners
Used straight from the phone by growers, farm owners, agents and DO holders.
Systems for mills & companies
Installed for one company: mill, estate and head office.
The apps in family A connect to the systems in family B only when the grower agrees.
Sawitara Core: the shared foundation · Plans as product combinations
Five roles in the palm oil chain
Plantation Groups
Estates, mills and head office in one installation: estate dispatch notes go straight to the weighbridge, each unit keeps its own rules, and the board sees the group position without waiting for recaps.

Independent Mills
An independent mill buys all of its FFB, so accurate weights, grading deductions and payments decide both margin and supplier trust.

One FFB truck, from harvest block to boardroom

Read the narration transcript
- From estate to boardroom.
- It all starts at the estate. The foreman records the harvest in the BKM: block, harvesters and bunches by ripeness grade. The system calculates premiums and estimated tonnage straight away.
- The crop clerk issues a dispatch note from bunches not yet collected. The load estimate is bunches times the block's average bunch weight, so nobody has to type this figure again.
- At the mill, the operator simply chooses the dispatch note. Truck and estate details fill in by themselves. In this demo the weighing indicator runs in simulation mode; the weight is taken once stable, and the net weight is calculated automatically.
- The grader enters the grade fractions. The deduction is calculated with a single weighted formula and comes straight off the ticket's net weight.
- Leakage becomes visible. The dispatch note estimate is compared with the mill's net weight, and shrinkage above tolerance is flagged immediately.
- At the end of the shift, the lab fills in the daily mill report. OER and KER are calculated as total CPO and kernel divided by total FFB processed, not from averaged percentages.
- In finance, the FFB net weight from the weighbridge becomes the basis for cost per kilo. Transactions with a monetary value post their own journal entries, so the profit and loss and balance sheet do not wait for a month-end summary.
- Directors see the result on the executive dashboard: CPO production, extraction rate, cash, budget absorption and open findings. One figure, recorded once, used all the way to the boardroom.

- No testimonials, client lists, user counts or savings percentages on this site.
- Not an RSPO/ISPO, SAP, Accurate or tax office certified product, and no guarantee of EUDR compliance.
- Anomaly sentinels are fixed rules, not an AI model; the AI assistant runs once you configure an AI provider.
- Features labelled Preview or Coming soon are partial or not available yet; each product page lists them.
What it looks like
Office screens for the weighbridge, mill, estate and finance. Swipe for the next screen.

On the phones of foremen and growers
The harvest foreman records block, collection point, round and area, even without signal (Sawitara Estate). Growers and suppliers open their tickets, deductions and payments from a WhatsApp link or QR card without an account; DO holders see quota and tickets per supplier, cooperative boards see members and EUDR readiness. Tandan installs on the phone and opens the last view offline.
Tandan by SawitaraBuilt for figures you can stand behind
One formula for key figures
Grading deductions use the same weighted formula on screen, minutes, ticket and server. Period OER and KER come from totals, not averaged percentages.
Configured on screen
Active products, rates, limits, tolerances, grading weights and account mapping are set by admins on screen, globally or per unit.
Honest figures and status
Reference prices show their source, estimates are marked as estimates, and features that do not exist yet are labelled Coming soon.
Guided go-live
An 8-step Initial Setup wizard and Excel data import with a per-row error preview.
Data on the server you choose
On-premise (Docker) or managed, with automatic daily backups and a tested restore procedure.
Field screens on phones
Foremen, clerks, weighbridge operators, graders, lab staff, ramp cashiers, mechanics and estate administrators each have a screen; estate flows keep recording offline.
Three steps to go-live
- 01
Prepare data
An 8-step Initial Setup wizard and Excel import for accounts, organisation, blocks, employees, items, growers, fleet and opening balances, with a per-row error preview.
- 02
Run in parallel
Record in Sawitara and the old way for 1–2 weeks, then reconcile weighbridge, daily reports and payroll before switching.
- 03
Go live per flow
Start with the weighbridge and daily reports where the benefit shows fastest, then estate, warehouse, payroll and finance.
Frequently asked
Which products does Sawitara have?
Two families. Apps for growers and partners: Buku Kebun by Sawitara (new, status Coming soon, prototype to try), Tandan by Sawitara, FFB Prices and Toko Input (Preview). Systems for mills and companies: Sawitara Estate, Mill, Finance, Trace and Ara, on Sawitara Core. See all products.
Is the weighbridge connected directly to the indicator?
Yes, through the weighbridge agent: a small program on the weighbridge PC (Windows or Linux) that reads the indicator over RS-232/USB-serial or TCP and sends weights over HTTPS with a device token. The server only accepts a weight equal to the last stable reading. Frame profiles have not been tested on a real indicator, so each indicator is matched first in the agent’s dry-run mode. Scales without the agent are entered manually with a reason.
Does it work on phones, including in blocks without signal?
Yes for the Sawitara Estate field app: harvest records, dispatch notes, upkeep, pest census and culling queue on the phone while offline and sync automatically without duplicates; document numbers are issued on sync. Fleet logsheets also work offline. Weighbridge, grading, lab, ramp cashier and estate cashier screens need a connection. This mode requires HTTPS and the app opened once while online. Growers, suppliers, DO holders and cooperative boards can also install Tandan on their phone and open their last view offline after the PIN.
Can it run on our own servers?
Yes. Sawitara runs on-premise with Docker (or Nginx, PHP-FPM and MariaDB/MySQL without Docker), or managed by us. Minimum: 64-bit Linux, 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM, 40 GB disk plus backup space. Servers without internet still work.
How much does it cost?
We do not publish prices on the site. Quotes are based on products, number of units, deployment and implementation support. Request a quote.
